What are Adverbs
A word or phrase that modifies or qualifies an adjective, verb, or other adverb or a word group, expressing a relation of place, time, circumstance, manner, cause, degree etc. is called Adverb. So adverbs tell the qualities of verbs, adjectives or other adverbs in relation of place, time, circumstance, manner, cause and degree etc.

Adverbs of Affirmation

The Adverbs which tell the qualities of a verb, adjective or other adverb in relation of affirmation are called the Adverbs of Affirmation. 

Following are some adverbs and their examples:

Surely, Certainly, Definitely, Indeed, Yes etc.

Examples:

Surely this was not a personal file.

Certainly, I will deliver the order on time.

Yes, I need it.

This car is, indeed, very beautiful.

I will definitely go to his home.
